Follow this procedure to populate the eReportRemote.NET application with well data from the NOGCC database:
1. Make sure that your workstation connection to the Internet is active.
2. From the Start | Programs menu, select Nebraska eReportRemote to open the application.
3. Click Login to eReport Server on the eReportServer form. The Login to Nebraska eReport pop-up box will open.
4. In the popup box, enter the same user name and password you use to login to NOGCC’s eReport Web site and click Login.
5. The database populates the Operator dropdown list with the names of companies you are authorized to represent. Select the operator you will represent for this session and enter the Report Month and Report Year.
6. Click Retrieve Dataset.
When the well data for the company you selected has been downloaded, the Current dataset field on the eReport Server form will show the operator name and date for the dataset.
You can then move to the other tabbed forms in eReportRemote.NET to begin data entry or review: Injection, Production, and Disposal. If you enter data for reporting purposes, you can submit the dataset to NOGCC's eReport server.
When you need to file multiple reports, as for example, if you are an agent for multiple oil and gas operators or if you need to file several reports for one operator in the same session of eReportRemote.NET, you will need to change the selection criteria on the eReport Server form.
When you change operators or report periods during your eReportRemote.NET session, the program will ask you if you want to save your dataset before continuing. If you choose not to save the dataset, any changes you made since the last time you saved the file will be lost, and the newly requested dataset will populate the eReportRemote.NET forms. The dataset you have downloaded will remain active in eReportRemote.NET until you change operators or report periods. Clicking Submit Dataset will automatically re-save your local file
Note: If your eReportRemote.NET session is inactive for more than 60 minutes, your connection to the NOGCC eReport server will time out and you will need to log back into the server.
