Welcome to NOGCC’s eReport, a Web application that oil and gas owners and operators can use to report production data directly to state agency databases. The eReport Web site includes the following features:
· Forms for preparing and submitting oil and gas regulatory reports online.
· A downloadable eReportRemote.NET program that you can use offline to create eReport-compliant files for automatic upload to the NOGCC Web application upon reconnection to the Internet.
· An upload page that you can use to submit many reports at once directly from your own in-house database if you already have the ability to generate eReport-compliant files.
Many tools are available to produce schema-compliant XML files. Some oil and gas industry owners and operators already have data sources capable of outputting XML-formatted data transfer files. Others may opt to use state-provided Web forms or interfaces to generate and upload XML data transfers. Please see the topic Three Ways to Upload Regulatory Reports for a summary of the different ways you can use eReport so that you can choose the method that best suits your business practices and resources.
The Ground Water Protection Council sponsored the development of eReport through a grant funded by the Department of Energy (DOE). GWPC manages the Risk Based Data Management System (RBDMS) program for DOE, which awarded RBDMS an Energy 100 Award. eReport was designed to work as an adjunct to RBDMS or other ODBC data source. Virtual Engineering Solutions, Inc., provided design, development, programming, and implementation services for both RBDMS and eReport.
Both RBDMS and eReport are included in GWPC’s Environmental Information Management Suite (EIMS) of applications.
