Oil and gas operators can choose any of the three following methods to prepare regulatory reports for upload to NOGCC’s eReport Web server. Shown below, these methods are based on the number of wells you operate and the level of Information Services (IS) support available to you. Choose the method most suited to your business practices and preferences for reporting production and injection reports and filing permit notices online.

There is no need for programming knowledge. Reports can be printed locally. Reports can be amended online until they are submitted with as "final."

A medium-size operator with few IS resources |
Use NOGCC’s eReportRemote.NET utility, which produces eReport schema-compliant files for upload to the agency. NOGCC will populate your utility with your well information from its database through an XML Web service.

You can prepare reports locally, without agency server load. You can use the utility as a local data repository for both regulatory reporting and for tracking your well information. You can work offline to prepare reports and then upload them to the NOGCC eReport Web server upon reconnection to the Internet.

You can download header information from agency-provided datasets and then join this structure to your own in-house databases. |
